# Vesper by Datameister > Vesper by Datameister makes industrial robots flexible enough for high-mix work. Your engineers decide what the robot does; Vesper writes, proves and documents the program. ## What it is - Generative robot programming for the high-mix stations that still run by hand: palletising and depalletising, bin picking, line feeding, assembly and cable insertion, kitting, machine tending. - You describe the task. Vesper writes the program and proves it in a digital twin of your cell, checked against a certified safety envelope. Your engineers approve before anything runs. - Programs run locally, in your plant. Built and run in Europe. Ready for the EU Machinery Regulation (EU) 2023/1230, which applies from January 2027. - Hardware-agnostic: industrial arms, cobots, mobile manipulators and humanoids. - Indicative payback of 9 to 18 months on a station running two shifts. ## Pages - [Home](https://vesper.dev/): problem, use cases, payback, how it works, safety, how to get started. - [How it works](https://vesper.dev/how-it-works/): two worked examples, the three stages, what it lets you do, hardware, comparison with manual work and fixed cells. - [Safety](https://vesper.dev/safety/): simulation first, certified safety envelope, traceability, EU Machinery Regulation, data. - [Station fit-check](https://vesper.dev/fit-check/): six questions, result shown straight away. - [FAQ](https://vesper.dev/faq/): questions manufacturers ask. - [About](https://vesper.dev/about/): Datameister and its founders, Ruben Verhack and Axel Vlaminck. - [For integrators](https://vesper.dev/partners/): how integrators, machine builders and robotics platforms work with Vesper. - [Contact](https://vesper.dev/contact/): quick talk, Floor Walk, partner or investor conversation. - [Full site text](https://vesper.dev/llms-full.txt): every page as clean Markdown. ## Proof - First place in the qualifiers of the Intrinsic AI for Industry Challenge (Alphabet's Intrinsic; jury drawn from Google DeepMind, NVIDIA, Open Robotics, Foxconn, Universal Robots), on dexterous cable insertion. - The founders come from Oqton, AI software for manufacturing, acquired by 3D Systems in 2021 for $180M. ## Company - Vesper is built by Datameister in Ghent, Belgium: [datameister.ai](https://datameister.ai)
